We have temporarily defaced our house and shocked our neighbours with our purple pillars to raise awareness for the proper education around heritage designation. We think an ugly house is worth it for a few weeks if it gets home owners in the neighbourhood to dig into the facts about heritage designation before making up their minds on whether it is a good thing or not.
